Beasley & Henley Interior Design on Monday announced it has been selected to create the interior design, detailing and furnishings for model homes in a large development in the Thousand Island Lakes area in China. Winter Park-based Beasley & Henley will work on four model homes for 80 to 90 homes planned for the city of Hangzhou in the Zhejiang province. Homes will range from 4,900-7,000 square feet and will be in the Florida Mediterranean style. The average price is expected to be about $1.5 million. The firm is now working with architects at Bonita Springs-based Sater Group Inc. on the project. The homes are expected to be completed in late spring 2008.
Beasley & Henley had previously completed other overseas projects, such as designing the interiors for a four-story single-family private home in Kuwait.
